why the fuss?

I have no idea why I was upset in this pic. I think I was tired at the time..... I only get fussy when I'm tired and trying to get myself to sleep, or when Mom delays my feeding time by a few minutes. Otherwise, I'm pretty chill most of the time

you have HUGE fingers papa!

Daddy sometimes spends time lotioning my skin after my semi-weekly baths. He doesn't use regular baby lotion, but the olive oil they put on me soaks right up into my skin...ahhhhhhhh!

Remembering...my birthday

On Monday Nov 27th, 2006, I gave mom the signal that I wanted to come. Every 10 minutes, I felt my mommy's body prepare for my arrival. It did not hurt. It was just like being squeezed a little in her belly. Although I was ready to come out, I was in a bit of a bind as I got tangled in my umbilical cord. The cord was wrapped around by neck. So although mommy's body was preparing my arrival, things were progressing slowly to protect me. I felt really bad because I could tell this was hard on mommy who had chosen to have me at home with a midwife. Well over 33 hours after giving the signal that I wanted to come out mommy found the strength necessary to push me out through one of the most painful pain she has ever experienced. My journey down the canal was difficult and the cord just kept squeezing tighter and tighter around my neck. I was trying my best but could not get a breath for almost 10 minutes after coming out giving everyone and myself a pretty big scare. Daddy, upon being urged by the midwife, even called the paramedics who we had to turn away when they arrived as I started breathing fine. Here are some pictures of that day...

I was either dreaming in this pic... or I just released some gas. Either way, someting good was going on in me at the time

Hi Daddy/Salut Papa

This is a rare moment you'll catch me lying down in Mom's arms like this. I really preferred to be held upright so that I can look up and around, stare at ceilings, fans, ceiling panels. lights, and anything else big people don't normally see as fun and captivating
