On Monday Nov 27th, 2006, I gave mom the signal that I wanted to come. Every 10 minutes, I felt my mommy's body prepare for my arrival. It did not hurt. It was just like being squeezed a little in her belly. Although I was ready to come out, I was in a bit of a bind as I got tangled in my umbilical cord. The cord was wrapped around by neck. So although mommy's body was preparing my arrival, things were progressing slowly to protect me. I felt really bad because I could tell this was hard on mommy who had chosen to have me at home with a midwife. Well over 33 hours after giving the signal that I wanted to come out mommy found the strength necessary to push me out through one of the most painful pain she has ever experienced. My journey down the canal was difficult and the cord just kept squeezing tighter and tighter around my neck. I was trying my best but could not get a breath for almost 10 minutes after coming out giving everyone and myself a pretty big scare. Daddy, upon being urged by the midwife, even called the paramedics who we had to turn away when they arrived as I started breathing fine. Here are some pictures of that day...

Hi Daddy/Salut Papa
I am growing like a weed!!!
Well, a few weeks have gone by and I am feeling great. I get my share of 'mommy milk' every 2-3 hours ( or less sometimes) but it is oh so yummy good.
Deux semaines ont passes et puis je ne cessse de grandir/grossir. Je trouve delicieux le lait de maman que je m'assure de boire a chaque 2-3 heures( ou moins :) ).
